Nigeria’s biggest music export Wizkid has been trending on social media since the release of ‘Brown Skin Girl’ video.
Beyonce recently released a documentary titled ‘Black Is King’, a visual companion to The Lion King album. The documentary was officially introduced with the visuals of ‘Already’, which features Ghanian dancehall star, Shatta Wale.
Queen Bey follows up with the visual of ‘Brown Skin Girl’ off The Lion King album. The Afro-Pop sound which welcomes amazing collaborators such as Africa’s Starboy Wizkid, Guyanese singer Saint Jhn and also features Ivy Blue officially hits over 2 million Youtube views in 24 hours, a feat no African has achieved.
As a matter of fact, the video currently boasts over 2.7 million views (and counting) just 24hours after it dropped.

It would interest you to know that before now, the Nigerian Music Industry has experienced a lot of record-breaking following the consistent release of hits and unique videos backed up with the right collaborations, both locally and internationally to appeal to the audience at large.
The release of ‘Fever’ visuals featuring Tiwa Savage, set the record for Wizkid, being the first video to hit an accumulated view of over 1million in the space of 24 hours.
DMW boss Davido, had earlier broken Wizkid’s record after his collaboration with Chris Brown in ‘Blow My Mind’ hit a million views on YouTube just after 10 hours of its release.
The video opens up with Davido singing his verse in a motel room with a girl chilling on the bed behind him, while Chris Brown pulled off some impressive choreography in front of the motel in the video.
However, Wizkid would go on to set a new record with ‘Brown Skin Girl’ as the video garnered a million views just 7 hours after it’s release.
