Kit Harington dealing with the end of ‘Game Of Thrones’ checks into rehab for stress

Kit Harington of Game Of Throne has checked himself into rehab where is getting treated for stress and alcohol.

Reports came out earlier today saying he had checked himself into a rehab facility, but his rep later described the center as a “wellness retreat.”  “Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues,”- rep said

Page Six reports that the center is a luxury mental health/rehab center in Connecticut and he’s been there since before the show’s finale. According to reports from Page Six, he’s there mostly for exhaustion and stress.

The outlet reported that the facility specializes in “psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions at the facility” which costs over $120,000 a month. A source said Harington’s wife, former Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie, is being “incredibly supportive” during his stay.

Sources close to his family tells PageSix that the end of ‘Game Of Thrones’ hit him really hard.

“He realized ‘this is it — this is the end’, it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next? He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol. His wife Rose is being extremely supportive. Everyone close to him really wanted him to get some rest. Right now, he just needs peace and quiet,” the source said

Harington played Joh Snow on the Tv hit series where he completed his eight-season run on the show on May 19 after the HBO drama aired its last episode.
