Nigerian music artists and celebrities came out to support dance-hall singer; Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking who hosted an album listening party to his incoming sophomore album, “Wilmer” which held at a private lounge in Ikoyi, on Tuesday night.
The evening was dignified with a huge turn out of celebrities across the board who gathered to celebrate Patoranking’s new project which comes three years after he released his first album “God Over Everything”. Speaking to E-Daily about the 12-track album which he named after his daughter, Wilmer Okorie, Patoranking noted that the album comes from a place of love and pain.
“This album is coming from a place of love and pain. I’ve put my heart and soul into this album. Wilmer has purely been a blessing and I hope this project encourages you, motivates you and blesses you. The journey hasn’t been easy but we are thankful for where we are headed. God bless every single one of you and everyone who has been a part of this masterpiece”, he said.
The 28-year-old singer, was born and raised in Ijegun-Egba, hails from Onicha local government area in Ebonyi state.

Patoranking’s Wilmer album is set to be released on Friday, May 24, few days before his birthday on Monday, May 27.
